Peu de gens ont l’air de s’inquiéter de cette concentration, qui, bien que dans l’air du temps, pourrait poser un problème de qualité de l’information. Visiblement, et comme si l’exécrable exemple de Berlusconi en Italie n’était pas transposable en France, on préfère croire en la déontologie d’un mec qui a fait fortune dans l’armement, croire qu’il ne penserait pas à utiliser les ressources de ses journaux dans l’intérêt de ses entreprises et de sa vision de la société. La preuve, il déclare ce qui suit.

Je souhaiterais, dans la mesure du possible, que le journal mette plus en valeur nos entreprises. J’estime qu’il y a quelquefois des informations qui nécessitent beaucoup de précautions. Il en est ainsi des articles qui parlent des contrats en cours de négociation. Il y a des informations qui font plus de mal que de bien. Le risque étant de mettre en péril des intérêts commerciaux ou industriels de notre pays.
